Jeunesse: Young People, Texts, Cultures

Description:

The Review of Constitutional Studies/Revue d'études constitutionnelles is Canada’s only fully peer-reviewed academic journal dedicated to the exploration and analysis of issues related to constitutional law and constitutional theory. Published by the Centre for Constitutional Studies since 1993, the Review publishes work drawing from many disciplines, including law, history, economics, political science, sociology and philosophy, encouraging a multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary approach to the study of constitutional questions. The Review publishes original scholarly work addressing doctrinal and functional aspects of constitutional law but its focus is to provide a forum for the analysis of constitutionalism in its various political, social, and historical contexts; discussion of the theoretical underpinnings of constitutionalism; and the challenges facing contemporary constitutionalism. Although the Review maintains an emphasis on the Canadian setting, it proudly profiles work involving comparative and international constitutional analysis. In addition to original scholarly articles, the Review of Constitutional Studies also publishes review essays and book reviews of newly published and topical volumes of interest to constitutional scholars.
