English Studies in Canada (ESC) publishes articles on topics that fall into the disciplinary purview of "English studies" broadly understood. In addition to literary criticism, the journal welcomes articles that take up the methodologies of cultural studies, critical theory, and interdisciplinary studies. ESC also publishes review articles, book reviews, and readers' forums on matters of interest to the discipline. ESC is an official publication of the Association of Canadian College and University Teachers of English.
